  • All products are assembled by ASME certified welders, employed full-time by V.E.
    • Quality is controlled by all aspects of the manufacturing process being performed at V.E.’s facility: we do not farm out the process to others
    • A fully trained and certified welding staff ensures that all welds are done properly
  • All steel is American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Grade-A36
    • The highest quality steel is used, giving the tank a longer service life
  • All walls are stamped on-site with one of the largest presses in the Southwest, creating a “deep well U-shaped” corrugation that is structurally stronger than any other in the industry
    • By stamping the walls on-site, each tank is identical, unlike tank builders who farm out the stamping and breaking. This creates a better fit-up at assembly
  • Floor supports: Supports are 6” x 12” steel tubing that minimizes flexing and creates a broader footprint when the tank is placed on the ground.
    • The largest floor tubing in the industry. By minimizing flex and giving the larger footprint, tank life is extended markedly over our competition
  • All walls and floors are ¼” carbon steel and “V” shaped for more efficient drainage.
    • More efficient drainage means less liquid left in the bottom of the tank. This is another way to extend the life of the tank
  • All walls are assembled using a robotic “sub-arc” welder with 100% penetration
    • This is one of the most important aspects in determining the strength of the tank.
  • Our Carboline 4500 Plasite two-part epoxy coating is one of the best in the industry and typically applied a minimum of 15 mils thick on the interior of the tanks.
    • Using the best epoxy coating in the business increases not only service life, but range of product that may be used.
  • Paint: We use only the best, Dupont Imron DTM
    • By using the DTM product, refinishing is needed less often; again, decreasing life cycle cost
  • All tanks are prepared for paint/coating with a steel-shot blast, creating a 2.5 mil anchor profile. In other words, our paint and coatings have more to “grab” to extend useful life.
    • Finishing is often overlooked. Our process extends the life cycle of the tank, as well as providing the owner with a visibly pleasing product that represents him well
  • Front and side 22” manways are built exclusively for V.E. Enterprises, are sealable and superior in quality to many third-party options.
    • By manufacturing the manways on-site, V.E. has 100% control of the process, ensuring that all manways fit properly and meet our stringent requirements
  • Testing: V.E. tanks must pass seven (7) major in-process quality checks prior to the final leak testing. V.E. tanks must pass a rigorous 60 point final inspection.
    • Water testing alone is not enough. All aspects of the process must be verified before a tank can fly the V.E. name. Rest assured that the tank is field ready before being placed in service

What does all of this mean? The V.E. tank has a lower life-cycle cost than the competition. Our customers, the ones who know the costs of operating a tank, are proud of the fact that the V.E. brand can last years longer than other tanks before the need to be refurbished.

When the tank is completed, you know who built it. By not “farming-out” to others, V.E. can maintain the highest standards of quality in the industry.
